What's Coming Up.

Since I got back my Blake fabric from my friend and am pretty much done celebrating a birthday today...After Monday I should be able to work on my Blake cosplay.

Yeah it sounds great and I've ordered contacts for my sister so I'll be writing a review with her.  Yeah I know it sounds weird but I can't let her type...she has terrible grammar and it kills me to see it.  Haha.

But yeah...I've got some exams also.  Saddening but I think I'm ready for them.  Thanks for sticking around!

E.L.F. Natural Lashes Review

This is my opinion on E.L.F.'s natural lash kit.  I bought this with my own money and you do not have to take my word for it.

The lashes are from Target and cost me $1 so I should not have thought it'd be that crazy great.  But still decent but they weren't that great.  http://www.eyeslipsface.com/elf/eyes/false_lashes/natural_lash_kit_

To me the glue it comes with looks dried out.  I can't tell for sure because it is being stubborn right now and won't come out the packing and I've damaged the white plastic that it comes in because the glue was being stubborn.

The lashes as I tried to take them out, one pair got messed up and I had to cut it off.

The band for the lashes seems pretty thin, I'd like it a bit thicker and same for the lashes themselves.

But for the final look putting them on.  It seems worth it but I did not enjoy the hassle.

Luckily I didn't by the other lashes that had 2 other pairs in the box.  I would have felt pretty disappointed.  Even the lashes(Halloween collection I thick they were) I got from Charlotte Russe are better than these unfortunately.

But yeah those were the problems I encountered with elf's natural lash kit.  I took pictures but the quality isn't to good. ^^;  Sorry about that.

EDIT:  I also forgot to mention how after I pulled out the lashes of the plastic thingy they are usually on.  The lashes lost the curves shape and because pencil straight.  Another minus for me because they were harder to put on and it took some more time to adjust them on my eyes.

Great News.

My friend had my Blake fabric at her house the whole 2 weeks I've been looking for her.  So after this week or next week I'll start really getting into working on my cosplay for Blake from RWBY.

But for now I can't because I'm making a Luffy cosplay and Asuna cosplay for friends.  Luffy is a birthday present and Asuna is for a regular cosplay thing that is needed in another week.   So yeah no real time for Blake until next week I guess.

But yeah besides that I also have to shop for present now that it is December.  *screams internally*  Hope you guys have fun finding your perfect presents as I am.

I have to change my present ideas.  My mother and sister had birthdays and then there is Christmas near so I have to double their presents.  *more sobbing from a distance*

But anyway thanks for sticking around and Happy Late Thanksgiving.

A bit more insight to this blog's purpose.

I have no clue if I've said what the purpose of the blog was about so I'm going to write it out here.  Because I have another blog on wordpress so yeah...I may just need to cut one down so I can keep one and not be confused about where and what I typed up...

Anyway I would love to try to keep this blog for my cosplays, lenses reviews, tutorials, everything cosplay related here if I can.  I get random sometimes though and I'll just write about my day because I'm probably not doing much in my life cosplay related and I feel that I haven't blogged in a bit so I'll have random things up like that.

But yeah it's pretty simple that things here are gonna be cosplay related and I hope to update more often when I'm not to busy.  Haha. Yay.  Short and sweet so I hope I don't bore you with so many words to read.

I never posted my WIP Inori pics have I...anyway...I wanted to give a show about why photo editing can be a good thing as opposed to being a bad thing.  I'm sure we all know about extreme photoshoppers.  But some photoshopping, like my own photo, is very reasonable. As  I am about to share here for you guys.

Anyway my point here is to try to get you guys to see come light in the photoshopping world.  Or whatever you photo editor is.  I have GIMP if you must know.  ;)    For me this helped me kind of know what I'd look like with red eyes since I haven't bought red contacts yet for Inori and have been wary about how they would look on me...Now I'll probably get the red contacts.

What do you guys think?  

I'm nor pro but I think it looks better than my other eye photo edits.  OTL

Blake Belladonna Cosplay Leggings Tips

I made a thing about this on my wordpress blog but I want to make it here also so here it is.

Long story short I'm restarting my Blake cosplay after finding the most PERFECT pair of ombre tights at Icing that were the last pair, my size and the perfect price,  which was $2.  :'D  So I felt it was destined and I bought them.

Anyway I found and searched about ombre leggins/tights for a bit but not crazy extensively so if you find something better go ahead and use it.  ;)  (Never mind I went and tried to find them at other places, Nope)

An Unfortunate Turn of Events

We weren't able to get our RY cosplays done on time.  We'll start up again new week probably but yeah.  Funds kind of ran low because of our personal reasons and we don't have a job so yeah...

But I have some pictures so it should show you I tried. Haha.

My computer is acting up so you guys can't have the photos.  Haha, not yet.  Sorry.  ^^;

BUT I have my Inori from Guilty Crown wig so I'll probably start cosplaying her also.  Joy to the world!  :'D

CosChallenge Day 7: RWBY Cosplay WIP

It's been a week now and I FINALLY was able to buy my fabric Friday I believe from Wal Mart.  ^^;  Oh joy.  I'm not totally sure now if I can get Blake done in the next week but then again I'll never know if I don't try.  I have the black fabric for the vest thing.  Haha.

Though sis Tori Story is nearly done with her Ruby skirt now.  Just need more red frilly and a zipper. And then shirts and the rest.  Oh so fun.

Cosplay Commission Work

I like to notes I do cosplay commissions with my sis who is my partner in crime in everything.  We do not take full cosplay comissions and take certain commissions.  But what we can handle is plush commissions.  I'll be posting pictures for some insight to what we do.  We also have a storenvy at http://creationblossom.storenvy.com  and an Etsy at http://www.etsy.com/shop/CreationBlossomsHere  .

2 Week Cosplay Challenge: Day One

This be Day One of what I call. The 2 week CosChallenge, CosChallenge.  Short and sweet...kind of.

Today we gonna see if we can get some stuff done for Story's Ruby cosplay.  Like her skirt since she bought the fabric last week.  This should be fun.

But then thing is, is that we are making these cosplays own our own the best we can.  I mean we'll ask for advice on things but physical help besides things like measuring.  You be out yo.  I think it sounds good.  I hope to move to a university out of my city soon enough so I'm trying to get us conditioned to cosplaying on our own if something happened.

So yeah.  I think cosplayers should try these things out.  Challenge yourself but not with something to crazy hard.  Hence for me and Story.  RWBY's Ruby and Blake.  It's different from our usually cosplays and we usually take a month to make these things because we lack motivation and inspiration.  Haha. So the CosChallenge should show us things we need to work on and what we're good at.  Yay us.

Current Cosplay Plan 2013: -RWBY- Blake Belladonna

I've already more or less started on this cosplay since I couldn't resist the excitement of the idea of a new cool cosplay for myself.  I'm, of course, gonna cosplay Blake Belladonna from RWBY and my sis Tori Story is going to be Ruby while another friend of ours is going to be Weiss.  Unfortunately, we don't have a Yang.  I might cosplay her though to humor my sister. ;)

But for today I got the bow done and it looks nice to me though I'm going to have to go out and buy a skinny black headband now.  OTL

Yeah, this is gonna be a super awesome cosplay for me to do.  I can't wait.  :D  And so far I've managed this next photo...

Excuse the mess I call my face. LOL  I got over a cold 2 days ago...But yeah that's my bow.  Heh...I probably need a better wig but that's pretty nice so far.  It's been a while since I've made a cospay for myself so this should be fun.

For this cosplay for me and my sis.  I hope to accomplish the cosplay in a timely fashion of 2 weeks.  We've never challenged ourselves like this so this should be good.  That, and we hand sew our cosplays.  So that is also SUPER FUN.  No, no it's not.  Get a sewing machine when you can.  It'll save your poor fingers from being pricked constantly. 

So yeah this should be a fun challenge for us.  Minus the Gambol Shroud and Crescent Rose that is.  Since we don't actually have the proper means of which to make them yet.  Yet.

Hi You Guys! :D

I hope to retry this blogging thing again.  I didn't start off so well because I had no idea what I wanted to do.  Now I think I know so I'll just hope right to it now.

I'm a cosplayer for 3 years now but my knowledge of cosplay goes back to when I first discovered it back in middle school when I was 12...so it's been about 9 years now...I was bidding my time because I was not a paid middle schooler.  Hehe.

Anyway what I hope to accomplish is things cosplay related and life related in some ways I suppose.  Whatever I dub useful that other people should know about.

With cosplay related things, I hope to get tutorials set up at some point.  As well as cosplay tips about wig care and lenses review from varies contact stores.  Makeup tutorials also I suppose if I'm any good.  I also hope to get some con reviews in if possible for those that live in the Florida state. ^^)b

So yay.  I'll hope to see you soon!
